Exit ban (travel restriction): what it means
If an unpaid debt (tax, fine, alimony, loan) has gone to the MIB, you may be banned from leaving the country. Many people only find out at passport control at the airport. Before travelling abroad for work or a holiday, check on mib.uz or my.gov.uz; after paying, keep the receipt.
