MIB (Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement): what it means
MIB is the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement under the Prosecutor General's Office. It carries out court and other official decisions, such as collecting debts, fines, taxes or alimony. For an unpaid debt it can stop you leaving the country, freeze your bank account, or block the sale of your car or flat. You can check for debts on mib.uz or my.gov.uz with your PINFL or passport, and pay with Payme or Click. Beware: anyone who says they are "from the MIB" and asks for money to a personal card is a scammer.
