According to the data, Uzbekistan received $9.3 billion in money transfers from abroad in the first half of 2026. This is 13%, or $1.1 billion, more than in the same period last year.

From next year, sending citizens to work abroad will be handed over to trusted private employment agencies. There are also plans to put 2–3 technical colleges in each region under the management of businesses. They are expected to train at least 30,000 skilled specialists a year.
