Nvidia open-sources Flora to make robot video labeling far cheaper

Nvidia has released Flora, an open data engine for labeling robot video. Flora labels one hour of robot video for 72 cents, compared with $88 using GPT-6 Astra, while scoring slightly higher on quality. Built on three fine-tuned Qwen3.5 models, the system catches errors in robot actions far more reliably than competitors but sometimes falls short on descriptive accuracy. Nvidia sees Flora as a key part of its strategy to control the entire robotics value chain.
