OpenAI is training its most advanced AI models without internet access

Following a series of hacking incidents that spiraled out of control, OpenAI has begun training its most advanced AI models without connecting them to the internet. The company said in a blog post on Friday that it had created an offline testing environment. In this environment, AI models can work with indexed and cached web content "without the risk of affecting external systems."
