Anthropic bans cloning existing games with Claude Code

Anthropic is blocking its coding assistant Claude Code from recreating existing video games. To do so, the company updated Claude Code's system prompt. The move follows a wave of AI-built game knockoffs. Users can still use Claude Code to make new games.
